Are you new here?
At Disciple City Church, we want to connect with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Everyone is welcome in the DCC family!
The first steps to getting plugged into DCC are attending our Sunday gathering (in-person or online) and visiting a Life Group throughout the week. From there, you’ll have met people who are excited to get to know you and will be equipped with more information about the next steps.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAYS
We understand that visiting a new church can be a little nerve-wracking or downright scary. Rest assured that we are so excited to welcome you into our community! We hope this information answers the questions you have, but feel free to email us if not.
In-Person
Location: We gather in the sanctuary of our building at 10 am. Click here for a quick preview of the facility.
Address: 1304 S. Hampton Rd. Dallas, TX 75208
Parking: Our campus includes a large parking lot at the corner of Brandon St and Hollywood Ave. Feel free to utilize one of our first-time or special needs parking spots, especially if you’re an expecting mother or if you have small kids! After you’ve parked, make your way to the glass doors at the top of the stairs. If you need an accessible entrance, park in a handicap spot and flag down a parking attendant or greeter.
Bring Your Kids!: Bring the whole family! Our kids’ ministry is currently for 18-month-olds to 5th graders. Check-In at the table in the lobby and you’ll be directed from there. If you aren’t yet comfortable with kids’ programming, your 8-month-old or 8-year-old is invited to sing and shout alongside you in our gathering. Learn more about family ministries here.
Music: We sing songs that are from a variety of cultures to proclaim truths from God’s word. You might hear songs sung in various languages as we look forward to the day when all nations will worship God together!
Theology: Please visit Our Beliefs to learn more about what we believe.
Service Length: Our gathering is about an hour and a half, and typically looks like: singing + communion, teaching, prayer/song, and announcements.
What to Wear: Come as you are! Most members dress casually (e.g. jeans and a nice shirt), but you’re welcome to wear what makes you feel most at home.
NOTE: Feel free to email us to learn about how we’re gathering and how to get connected.
Online
We would love to see you virtually!
Location: You can stream our gathering live on YouTube at 10 am each Sunday.
Engagement: We encourage you to participate as fully as you can—stand during worship if you're able, gather with others in your household, and engage in the comments section!
This is a live stream of the in-person service (see above for answers to many FAQs)
We look forward to worshipping with you!
Visit a Life Group
Throughout the week, we gather as life groups. We invite you to visit one of our life groups and experience our family outside of Sunday gatherings. This is one of the best ways to get plugged into DCC. Please visit the Life Groups page for more information.
