FAITH THAT WORKS
True faith produces fruit. Faith without works or actions is a fruitless faith – it is dead. This spring from the book of James we will be preaching: “FAITH THAT WORKS.” James speaks to the realities of a living and active faith in Jesus. The kind of faith that takes the precepts of Jesus and puts them into practice in a chaotic world. A faith in Jesus that endures in trials, obeys God’s Word once heard, understands the danger of the tongue, and prays with faith. All of this is born out of an authentic relationship with Jesus. The expressed hope of this series is for disciples of Jesus to practice the precepts of Jesus no matter the circumstance of life.
JOY TO THE WORLD
To deal with this tension of joy and anxiety upon the return of Christ, this Christmas we will start a new series titled - Joy to the World. We will explore what the Bible says about Jesus' second coming, and why we should rejoice and look forward to the return of the King.
HEALTHY DISCIPLE MAKERS
We will dive into the vision of Disciple City Church and what it means to be a Biblical and Healthy Disciple Maker. These next series of sermons will unveil the DNA of our church as we embrace our calling to become disciples who make disciples.
